Kardo

Kardo was founded in 2018 with the premise of creating contemporary clothing rooted in Indian textile craftsmanship. Each collection is limited and made from handcrafted fabrics—hand-spun khadi, loom jacquards, Phulkari embroidery—developed in direct collaboration with local artisans and collectives. The design is clean, functional, and timeless, but each piece carries the story of those who made it, such as weavers from Kutch, embroiderers from Punjab, and women's cooperatives in Gujarat. The result is clothing with substance, texture, and design, made slowly and with care. Kardo understands that the true value of clothing lies in the process.
